Marvel, Mumbai Indians again join hands for merchandising
Marvel Entertainment, known for its superheroes like Spiderman, has joined hands with the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians for an exclusive range of merchandise targeting children.

New Delhi: Marvel Entertainment, known for its superheroes like Spiderman, has joined hands with the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians for an exclusive range of merchandise targeting children.
Marvel-Mumbai Indians collection range includes apparel and home solutions featuring Marvel superheroes.
Targeting children between the age group of 4-14 years, the goods will be available at leading shopping destinations across the nation, including online, said a statement.
Roshini Bakshi, managing director, Consumer Products and Retail, Disney UTV, said: "Last year we had tied up with Mumbai Indians for a Mickey Cricket range that gained a lot of popularity with the fans."
"This year we are extending the relationship by bringing Marvel Super Heroes merchandise range with Mumbai Indians and giving our India fans this amazing opportunity to experience the most celebrated sport in the country with their favourite Super Heroes," she said in a statement.
Ricky Ponting, captain of Mumbai Indians, said: "I am sure kids all around the world will enjoy the merchandise that`s on offer."
The team will be rooting for the merchandise throughout the IPL season that kicked off April 3.
