Ryan Seacrest buys Ellen DeGeneres’ house for 49m dollars

New York: Ryan Seacrest has splashed out 49 million dollars on Ellen DeGeneres’ Beverly Hills estate, which is reportedly “within a couple of million dollars” of the asking price. According to a website, DeGeneres and her wife, actress Portia de Rossi, paid 29 million dollars in 2007 for the property. They expanded the home to 9,500 square feet and bought the two neighbouring properties, creating a pond, a leading daily has reported. There are also two guest houses and a separate three-bedroom house on the grounds. In the main nine-bedroom residence, there is a media room where the couple were married and a meditation room where they used to get massages. The home was originally built for actor Laurence Harvey and was inhabited by Joan Collins and ‘Will and Grace’ creator Max Mutchnick before de Rossi and DeGeneres moved in. ANI
