‘The Dictator’, Sacha Baron-Cohen, picks up prestigious comedy award

Zeenews Bureau New Delhi: Comedian, prankster and crazy freak Sacha Baron-Cohen won the award for ‘Outstanding Achievement’ at the British Comedy Awards held in London on the 13th of December. The actor-director who has donned various different avatars in his outrageous comedy stints has now bagged his second British Comedy award, his first one being the ‘Best Newcomer’ title 13 years ago. His popular avatars include the provocative Kazhakstani Borat, gay fashion-boy Bruno and, most recently, the outspoken ‘Dictator’ Aladeen, but he arrived at the event dressed as his first and possibly most popular personality, the Surrey-born stereotypical white suburban Ali G. Accepting the award in golden tracksuits with the word ‘Savile’ written on his back, he said: “"I is grown up now. I ain`t living in my nan`s house anymore. I am living in her garage." His next movie appearance will be as Freddie Mercury in an upcoming biopic on the legendary `Queen` rockstar.
