This TV actress is all set to star in web-series ‘Maaya’ inspired by erotica ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’

A new adult web-series starring Shama Sikandar is loosely based on erotica ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and highlights the concept of BDSM.

Mumbai: One of Indian TV’s pretty faces – Shama Sikandar – who had stunned many of her fans by appearing in an adult short film titled ‘Sexaholic’, has started shooting for Vikram Bhatt’s web-series titled ‘Maaya’ which is loosely based on erotica ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

The film also highlights the concept of BDSM, a report in Indianexpress.com suggests.

During an interview with the publication, Shama said, “Maaya is a very intense adult love story.”

On being asked if the film could be referred to as a common woman’s story, Shama said, “I feel every woman wants a good life, in every way, be it sexual, emotional or otherwise. They deserve it. Maaya is all about what they want. So there is no need to make ‘sexual’ desires of a woman look scandalous. It is not. It is as natural as loving somebody or eating food or going to sleep.”

Shama had expressed her excitement about working with Bhatt. She had written the following on her Instagram page:
