Angela Lansbury wants Lady Gaga to star in musical ‘Mame’

Washington: English actress Angela Lansbury has revealed that she would like ‘Poker Face’ singer Lady Gaga to star in musical ‘Mame’.

Lansbury, 85, who starred in ‘Murder, She Wrote’, believes Gaga, 25, would make a perfect leading lady in the Broadway show, for which she had won a Tony Award. The veteran actress, who has enjoyed a string of hits on the New York stage, is a big fan of Gaga and would like nothing more than for the actress to play the role. “She could sure wear the clothes, that’s for sure,” Contactmusic quoted Lansbury as saying.
