Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will call on ailing legendary singer Manna Dey in Bangalore Thursday.
"I will go to Bangalore on April 4 to meet Manna Dey," the chief minister told reporters at the state secretariat Writers` Buildings Tuesday.
Banerjee said her government would hand over the `Maha Sangeet Samman` award during the Sangeet Melato be held here later this year.
