`Meera` dance-drama in England

Nevada: ‘Meera’, a spectacular dance-drama about legendary Meerabai, a Rajput princess devotee of Lord Krishna, was enacted in Southampton (England) on March 6. With glittering costumes and colorful dance movements, over 50 performers took to the stage of Nuffield Theatre to showcase the life of Hindu saint and poet Meera. Some have described it as “spiritual upliftment”. After this event, “Meera” will tour USA, showing in Duluth (Georgia) on July 22 and Greenville (South Carolina) on July 23. Welcoming “Meera”, distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has urged various drama-dance groups to showcase other Hindu sages to pass on the traditions to the next generation and display the rich Hindu heritage to the world.
