New Delhi: A unique exhibition, inspired by divinity, will showcase artworks of four contemporary artists.

Titled "The Divine Deities", the exhibition consists of more than hundred artworks in paintings, digital prints and sketches.

"I have handpicked artworks by four contemporary artists who have been working in the genre. Some of the artworks in the show are being shown for the first time in Delhi," said Anubhav Nath, the curator of the exhibition.

'Interpretations of Shiva'- a collection of paintings by artist Abhishek Singh, which served as part of the public art project in Varanasi, will be displayed in the exhibition for the first time.

A rare collection of zardosi work which was last shown in Houston by artist Raja Ravi Varma will form the backdrop of the exhibition.

All the artworks at the exhibition range in sizes from 15 cms by 15 cms to 15 feet by 6 feet.

Artist Harshvardhan Kadam will be presenting his digital works on Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh and Ganesha.

Other than paintings and sketches, the exhibition will also include graphic designs of artist Ujan Dutta.

"Experimentation in art adds a certain freshness to the exhibition. It's only with experimentation that something new in form of art emerges. There is also a selection of limited edition of prints which will serve as a visual treat for the viewer," Nath said.

The exhibition will get on floor from October 1 at Ojas Art gallery in New Delhi.
