`Force` collects Rs 22 cr in first week

`Force` received a good opening at the Box Office worldwide.

Mumbai: `Force`, starring John Abraham, received a good opening at the box office worldwide with the film`s collection in the first week hitting Rs 22 crore, including Rs 16 crore from India, trade analysts said here Tuesday.

"John has silenced his critics and now moved into the league of the best action heroes of our time," producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah of Sunshine Pictures said. Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios which distributed the film said, "We hope the movie to have a long run at the box office." PTI
