New Delhi: Keeping up with the tradition of doing bold roles on the big screen, Kangana Ranaut is back with her solo lead venture – ‘Rajjo’.In the trailer of the film, we could see glimpses of her acting as a nautch girl (tawaif), dancing in the shady streets of a red light area. On the other hand, there is Prakash Raj in the form of the film’s villain. Also in the picture is Mahesh Manjrekar - the eunuch – who will be seen on screen after a long sabbatical.
Moving on to analysis of the trailer ( though it is too early to pass a clear judgement), it is quite evident that the film has low production values as the trailer clearly hints. Although Kanagna looks pretty as ever in the sequences we have been shown, it still makes us wonder whether she will be able to pull-off another ‘Fashion’ given the weaknesses we have pointed out.
Anyway, we just hope that this meaty role works out well for her when the film releases in theatres. Till then, have a look at the trailer and tell us what you feel about the same.
