`Zila Ghaziabad` director gears up for new projects

Filmmaker Anand Kumar has launched his own production house Anand Kumar Productions.

Mumbai: Filmmaker Anand Kumar, who brought together Vivek Oberoi and Sanjay Dutt in action-drama `Zila Ghaziabad`, has launched his own production house Anand Kumar Productions and is now gearing up with three projects - `Desi Kattey`, `Juliet` and `Nabbu`.

"It is a great feeling to be your own master. We have three exciting projects lined up for future, `Desi Kattey`, `Juliet` and `Nabbu`. While both `Desi Kattey` and `Nabbu` will be directed by me, `Juliet` will see my associate at the helm of affairs," Anand Kumar said in a statement. " `Desi Kattey` is action-drama based in a small town near Kanpur. The story is about two kids who turn out to be India`s best sharp shooters thanks to the childhood they spend in the katta (handmade pistol) factory," he added. Anand Kumar has earlier directed films like `Delhi Heights` and `Jugaad`. IANS
