New Delhi: Even though it is still only in the incipient stage, Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Jannat 2’ has managed to take the country by storm. Hashmi, the actor who is known for delivering hit songs with every single movie that he acts in, has gone a step further this time. He has shot for his upcoming film inside the premises of Tihar Jail in Delhi.
Hashmi’s director, Kunal Deshmukh, had requested special permission to shoot with his crew inside the tight security prison, and was granted about three hours of shooting time. The prison, known for being the residence of some of the most notorious criminals in the country, played spectator to the shooting of ‘Jannat 2’. Also, the men in uniform – the custodians of Tihar Jail – had the opportunity to play small roles in the film. In return, Hashmi gave away autographs.
The scene, as has been revealed, is of extraordinary importance as far as the film is concerned. And well, Emraan Hashmi heaved a sigh of relief once he was able to shoot the same inside a real jail. Seems like the Serial Kisser has loads to offer with ‘Jannat 2’!
