Mumbai: Choreographer turned director Farah Khan knows the tricks of the trade pretty well. The director is moving mountains to make the promotional video of her latest, Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Tees Maar Khan’ look extremely appealing and attention grabbing.
Farah, who had earlier directed masalas films like ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ is now all set to allure audiences into theatres this Christmas.
The inimitable director has already shot a special music video for ‘Tees Maar Khan’ with ‘Kingg of Bollywood’ Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Akshaye Khanna.
Talking to reporters in an interview, Farah said, "The song was always there but we were still devising different ways to use the song in the film. While the song will be definitely heard in the film, for now it is being utilized as a promotional music video. The theme track of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ will establish the character of Akshay Kumar right from the time he was in his mother`s womb to the time he came in this world. He was ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and would continue to be like that forever."
Farah has also shot the end credit title roll in her characteristic manner, featuring her entire cast and crew. Akshay Kumar’s better half Twinkle Khanna will also make a star appearance and so do Farah’s triplets.
"I guess the toughest part of my shoot was to capture my kids well on camera", Farah says in her inimitable tone, "However, Diva, Czar and Anya just didn`t seem interested. Here I was pampering them with all the nice dresses and goodies so that they put on their best show for camera. To my amusement though, they just walked around at their own will. Guess my famed command didn`t quite work with my own kids this time around”, she added.
