Mumbai: The first look of one of the most awaited films of the year- ‘Two States’- is out. Based on Chetan Bhagat’s namesake bestselling novel, ‘Two States’ stars Arjun Kapoor as the boy from North and Alia Bhatt as the girl from the South of India.

Directed by Abhishek Varman, the film is slated to release on April 18.

Jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala and Grandson, ‘Two States’ will see Arjun and Alia for the first time together.

The film will mark Alia’s third Bollywood venture after ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Highway’. Arjun Kapoor who was launched by Yash Raj Films with ‘Ishaqzaade’ appeared in a double role in ‘Aurangzeb’ which failed to create ripples at the Box Office. His film ‘Gunday’ released recently. But it would be interesting to see him in a different avatar in the adaptation of Chetan’s novel.
