Happy producing films, Malaika Arora Khan has no plans to act again

Malaika Arora Khan, who turned producer with 2010 superhit `Dabangg`, says she has no plans to return to acting but is open to item numbers.

Mumbai: Malaika Arora Khan, who turned producer with 2010 superhit `Dabangg`, says she has no plans to return to acting but is open to item numbers.
"Now I am enjoying making films. I am really enjoying being a producer. It is a very different aspect in my life, so that`s what I love doing. I am not interested in acting," the 39-year-old said here Wednesday at the launch of Naturals Marvie lounge. Malaika featured in a few cameos at the start of her career in films like `Bichhoo`, `Kaante` and `Housefull`. She is game to dance in movies. "I love dancing and I will continue doing that. I am very happy like this," added Malaika, who has grooved to popular numbers like `Chhaiya chhaiya` and `Munni badnaam`. Malaika, who has also judged TV shows like `Nach Baliye`, `Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa` and `India`s Got Talent`, is also open to similar small screen assignments. "We are very busy making films right now and all our concentration is over there. That doesn`t mean I don`t want to do anything else, I will be doing other things as well," she said. Meanwhile, Malaika is ready to produce another film, which may start around the end of 2013 or early next year.
