Mumbai: Karan Johar might have big plans to cast Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor together in Shakun Batra’s directorial debut ‘Short Term Shaadi’, but all doesn’t seem to be going as intended. Believe it or not, but Imran and Shakun, who were once best friends, have now fallen apart and are having troubles seeing eye to eye over the flick. And it’s all owing to their differences over the title of the movie. As per reports, Imran and Kareena are set to star in the desi remake of Hollywood blockbuster ‘What Happens in Vegas’. The film is set to be directed by Shakun Batra, whom Imran knows since his ‘Jaane Tu Ya jaane Na’ days. In fact, buzz has it that it was Imran who had suggested Shakun to KJo. Now, even though the entire team had initially agreed to title the film ‘Short Term Shaadi’, Shakun has backed out at the last moment from the selected title. However, since Imran has heavily endorsed the title, he feels that the film should go by that title only. Confirming the difference between Imran and Skakun, Johar said, “Yes, Shakun didn’t like the title ‘Short Term Shaadi’. It was only a working title in the first place. Imran and my writer Ayesha were kicked about ‘Short Term Shaadi’. But Shakun would hear none of it. We at Dharma go completely by the director’s vision. So we’re hunting for a new title now. What is decided for sure is that the film will be shot in Las Vegas.” Well, as of now, all the actors are on board looking to solve their differences mutually.
