Imtiaz Ali, Alia Bhatt launch ’Highway’ in Bangalore

New Delhi: Director Imtiaz Ali and the latest Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt were in Bangalore to promote the movie `Highway` on Tuesday at the Taj West End hotel. The movie is in its final legs of promotions for which the two have been going all out for. The film, presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, is a road journey traversing six states of north India and stars Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. The film`s music has been composed by the maestro AR Rahman and also has Alia lending her voice to the song `Sooha Saha`. Imtiaz Ali, director of the movie says, “Highway was made on the road, on the go. It needed more care. Luckily I had the best people in the team. And the movie has changed us all a bit.” `Highway` is slated to release worldwide on 21st February, 2014 and has the `Student Of The Year` star donning a completely new avatar as she appears sans make-up and in folk clothes in the promos.
