Imtiaz Ali is miffed with Ranbir’s new girl Nargis

Mumbai: Actors are known for their starry tantrums, but only after they become stars. Newbie Nargis Fakhri, who will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Rockstar’, is already testing director Imtiaz Ali’s patience. Nargis, who happens to be a swimsuit calendar model, was strictly asked by Ali not to make public appearances. But despite repeated warnings, the hottie dared Ali by going public with RK. Talking to a tabloid, a source revealed, "The plan was to bring her out in public only at the start of the film`s promotions. The fact remains that despite being a swimsuit calendar girl, she hasn`t spent time in the spotlight. Obviously, not being spotted in public topped her ‘Rockstar’ director`s don`ts list." Moreover, RK and Nargis’s PDA has not been appreciated by Ali as it is doing no good to his film, which is slated to release this August. "He (Imtiaz Ali) now feels the girl`s devil-may-care attitude will cost him his film. The film is expected to release in August and he worries that the attention around Fakhri might peak and ebb all too soon," added the source. And the fact the the lead actors of his film are actually seeing each other, has left Ali helpless. Describing Imtiaz’s situation, the source added, "The fact that they are dating makes things really awkward for the Rockstar director. Also, since RK is a good friend, he can`t get too stern with him."
