New Delhi: Director Mahesh Bhatt, who has offered the lead role to adult movie star Sunny Leon in his upcoming film ‘Jism 2’, says the movie is not about nudity though the name may suggest otherwise.
Bhatt, who went all the way to the Bigg Boss house to meet Sunny, said she has agreed to be a part of his daughter Pooja Bhatt`s film.
"Our first meeting was successful. She was very happy when I offered her the movie. Now the discussions will take place between Pooja (Bhatt) and Sunny`s agent about the further details. I hope that everything works out and she will soon start shooting," Bhatt told reporters.
"I feel she has the potential to play the lead role in Jism 2... Although she didn`t recognize me and I don`t think she watches Bollywood movies, she is looking forward to her Bollywood break," Bhatt said.
The 63-year-old director denies that her image as a porn star prompted him to hire her for the role, which is yet to find a male lead despite rumours that his son Rahul Bhatt will make his debut. Emraan Hashmi`s name is also doing the rounds.
"Sunny in `Jism 2` is not only for her sexuality... we all know that a movie needs to have a lot more than that. She has to win the audience with her acting. They are still very conservative so obviously Sunny will have to put in a lot more hard work to make a career in Bollywood."
`Jism 2` is a sequel to the 2003 release, which starred Bipasha Basu and John Abraham in the lead.
"I can`t say anything about the male lead. It will only be finalised once Sunny is out of the Bigg Boss house." Born to a Punjabi family in Ontario, Sunny has appeared in various reality shows in the US, and is currently participating in Bigg Boss, co-hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.
