Mumbai: Madhuri Dixit, who has some intimate scenes with award winning actor Naseeruddin Shah in the forthcoming film `Dedh Ishqiya`, says she was shy doing them, thanks to her co-star`s intense eyes.
"I found his eyes very intense. Whenever I did intense scenes with him, I used to get very shy. This is for the first time I found myself in such a situation," Madhuri told reporters Monday at an event here.
"When you are with him, you don`t have to act, you just have to react. He is such a natural actor," added the actress.
A sequel to Vidya Balan starrer 2009 hit film `Ishqiya`, this will be Madhuri`s first full-fledged movie role in six years. She feels filmmaking has undergone a lot of changes in the last few years.
She was last seen playing the lead in 2007 release `Aaja Nachle`.
"Things have changed. There is a lot of discipline now. Things are well planned now, which is good for the actors. Promotions have become a big deal and it`s very hectic, but it`s all for the good," said the actress of hits like `Beta`, `Dil To Pagal Hai` and `Devdas`.
Recently, she made a guest appearance in the `Ghaghra` song in hit movie `Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani`.
The 46-year-old will be seen as Begum Para, an attractive yet dangerous woman in `Dedh Ishqiya`, which has been shot in the interiors of the country.
Talking about her experience Madhuri said that they shot in the "remotest locations for the film but I didn`t know it will look so good on the screen."
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, `Dedh Ishqiya` also features Arshad Warsi and Huma Qureshi.
