Magic of Ramu, Rangeela and Rahman to roll all over again!

Mumbai: Controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has come up with an awesome mix of blend which promises a sure shot block buster.Ramu is all set to make a sequel of his 1995 blockbuster ‘Rangeela’. Ramu and Rahman together has created the hit film 16 years ago and now he is again keen to work on a sequel with AR Rahman to re-create the magic.

Varma recently met AR Rahman at the launch of the music composer`s biography. That’s when he expressed his desire to work with the veteran musician and re- create the sensation of ‘Rangeela’. At the launch, during his speech Rahman thanked Mani Ratnam, Subhash Ghai, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Varma, for their contribution to his career. But he only took the name of one film -- Rangeela. That triggered Ramu’s mind to think about a Rangeela sequel. "When Rahman mentioned Rangeela, I was deeply moved. The fact that he feels it was a significant film in his career is something I agree with. I was flooded with memories of the music of Rangeela," Varma recalled.
