Not judgemental about Anna Hazare`s movement: Prakash Jha

Prakash Jha said that he is not trying to be judgemental about the social activist`s movement.

New Delhi: Denying reports that his forthcoming film ‘Satyagraha’ has resemblance to Anna Hazare`s movement against corruption, director Prakash Jha said that he is not trying to be judgemental about the social activist`s movement.
Jha also said that he drew inspiration for the film from the mass protests around the world.
According to reports, Anna`s camp members said the film has resemblances to Anna`s movement against corruption and they have also pointed out resemblance between real people and the characters in the political thriller. "Anna Hazare`s movement mobilised common people. In my film, the movement and its logic is completely different. I`m not trying to be judgemental about Anna Hazare`s movement, and I don`t want anyone to be judgemental about my film," Jha said in a statement. "Any suspicion linking with Hazare`s movement is uncalled for. But there is nothing I can do about that," he added. The film, set to hit the screens Aug 30, features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. IANS
