Mumbai: When not making Box Office duds, Ram Gopal Varma is busy taking digs at fellow filmmakers. Earlier if it was Karan Johar, currently it’s Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who became the latest victim of RGV’s vitriolic tweets.
Recently, RGV trained his guns on Bhansali and mocked the trailers of Aishwarya-Hrithik starrer ‘Guzaarish’. Commenting on the ‘Guzaarish’ promos, RGV was at his wittiest best as he tweets, "Just can`t stand the close-up of Hrithik`s teeth being brushed by Ash. Any day will watch ‘Dhoom 2’ ten times again." However, RGV also took pot-shots at himself and said, "But then I am the maker of ‘Aag’.”
Well, RGV has not only posted his comment on Twitter but also passed around on SMS to many industry people.
Apparently, when Sanjay Leela Bhansali got to know of RGV’s vicious comments, the former was hardly amused. Talking to a daily, Bhansali retorted, "I really have no time or patience for this sort of behaviour. Ramu has always met me with much enthusiasm about my films in the past. So if he had an opinion on ‘Guzaarish’ he should have shared it with me instead of putting it on Twitter. And by the way, doesn`t he have a release coming up (‘Rakta Charitra’)? He should just focus on that instead of worrying about the content of other people`s films."
Interestingly, a close friend of Bhansali said, "Ramu should just stop discussing other people`s works in public. Karan Johar might give Ramu tit for tat and move on. But Sanjay is a different person. He won`t take kindly to premature observations about his film. He believes that if he doesn`t comment on other people`s work, why should they?"
