Salman Khan feels responsible for Zarine’s career

Salman Khan's favourite protégé has landed herself a cameo in Anees Bazmee's next 'Ready' all thanks to the actor. Incidently, the film stars Salman in the lead.

Zarine Khan is one lucky gal. Even after delivering a dud in her debut performance in Anil Sharma’s ‘Veer’, the actress is being offered cameos in films! And why not? When you are Salman Khan’s protégé, you are bound to go places. If sources are to be believed, recently Salman pulled some strings, convincing director Anees Bazmee to bring Zarine on board, for a small appearance in Ready. Zarine, accompanied by actor turned producer, Arbaaz Khan, flew down to Bangkok, last week to shoot the cameo with Salman, in Pattaya. Bazmee confirmed to a leading daily, “It’s a small scene. We needed Arbaaz and Zarine. Salman’s equation with them made it easy for us to get them to agree to do the scene.” A source said, “Salman felt Zarine is being left behind for no fault of hers. Salman somehow feels responsible for Zarine’s career not taking off. He is trying to get her into his new projects.”
