New Delhi: Actor Vidyut Jammwal`s new film ‘Commando’ is high on action, and promises to change the landscape of the genre in films.

"Vidyut`s `Commando` is touted to change the action landscape in India with sequences that showcase never-seen-before action, focused on hand to hand contact-based combat, free runs and depth jumps, mid-air splits and somersaults, flip-punches and impact attacks, all done without any body doubles or cables by our very our hot rod," said an insider.

Interestingly, Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger`s 1985 film was also titled "Commando", where he played a special force agent. That film too changed the way action genre was seen at the time.

"Vidyut`s character is that of a special forces agent which was also what was essayed by Arnold in the 1985 Hollywood hit, which showcased action that was extremely hardcore, yet (it was a) natural and true-to-life portrayal," the insider added.
