New Delhi: Dedicated to non-fiction literary works, the two-day India Non-Fiction Festival will begin in the national capital November 15, a statement said Saturday.
The theme for this year's festival is 'Be Bold. Stay Bold'.
"Festival director Kumaar Bagrodia said: "We are proud to present a great opportunity to the non-fiction writers and readers to meet and exchange ideas. It is heartening to see that non-fiction writing is increasing and great writers from different backgrounds are producing fantastic works".
He added, "we aspire to make India Non-Fiction Festival a regular event, thereby giving the non-fiction space its due credit which is mostly reserved for fiction".
A few names who will be part of the festival this year include author Ira Trivedi, journalists B.G. Verghese, Rajdeep Sardesai, technocrat Arun Maira and adman Suhel Seth among others.
It will be held at the India Habitat Centre between 1.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m on Nov 15 and 16 and will be presented by Leap Vault, a knowledge media company.
