Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not promoting Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' - Here's why

New Delhi: We all know that Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor have enacted some really intimate scenes in filmmaker Karan Johar's upcoming movie 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. And, it is being speculated that Ash is not promoting the film in order to avoid any uncomfortable discussion in the media. But, this doesn't seem to be the truth.

Latest reports suggest that the 'Guru' actress has been intentionally made to stay away from the promotions as a part of the strategy. Aishwarya will reportedly be promoting the flick together with Anushka Sharma once the latter is back after shooting Imtiaz Ali's 'The Ring'.

As per the rumour street of B-Town, the 42-year-old actress has comparatively shorter role than Anushka in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. If Aishwarya promotes the film alone, then this would give a wrong impression to the viewers that she is the female lead.

'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is slated to hit the theatres on October 28 this year. It also features Pakistani sensation Fawad Khan and actress Lisa Haydon.
