Confidence is the key to beauty: Emma Stone

Actress Emma Stone says that the key to look beautiful is believing in yourself and being confident about your body. The 22-year-old, who plays a writer in the upcoming movie `The Help`, insists she is comfortable about her body and so is able to carry it well, reported People magazine.

"Confidence is the only key. I know a lot of people who aren`t traditionally beautiful ? not symmetrical or perfect-bodied or perfect-skinned. But none of that matters because all that shines through is their confidence, humor and comfort with themselves. I can`t think of any better representation of beauty than someone who is unafraid to be herself," said Stone. The actress says he role Eugenia `Skeeter` Phelan in the movie `The Help` gave her a new perspective on the importance of inner beauty. "I think at the beginning, understandably, she is deeply affected by her appearance and her mother`s disapproval of it. But she was lucky enough to have (her maid) Constantine, who reminded her that she was beautiful and smart and could choose her life," she added. PTI
