Justin Bieber is the new face of Proactiv

Los Angeles: Teen singing sensation Justin Beiber will now help his fans fight pimples as he is the new face of the anti-acne product line Proactiv.

The baby faced singer joined the likes of Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne, who have all previously endorsed the product. In newly released promotional pictures, the young star shows off clear skin while clutching a bottle of the brand`s toner, reported People online. "I know that for a teenager, it doesn`t matter how many people are looking at you, you don`t want acne on your face," the 16-year-old said in a statement. "I`m in the limelight all the time. I`m constantly doing interviews, constantly doing photo shoots and, you know, I`m determined to keep myself clear. Using Proactiv will help that," he added. This new venture for Bieber comes in conjunction with the release of his first autobiography, `Justin Bieber, First step 2 forever: My Story`, published by Harper Collins, which will be in stores in October. The book apparently contains tales of the young stars` jet-setting lifestyle, his road to stardom and even details on his first date. PTI
