Madonna`s daughter starts fashion blog

London: Pop diva Madonna`s 13-year-old daughter Lourdes has started a fashion blog to promote her mother`s new 80`s themed range of clothes. She helped Madonna create the new clothing line, `The Material Girl` Collection, and now Lourdes has taken to the internet to promote it, saying the clothes will reflect some of her personal taste, a news website reported. "I`m just going to use this blog entry to tell you all a little bit about myself. I am totally obsessive about 80`s shorts. It`s kinda nerdy but I love it. The 80`s are another huge obsession of mine, which is totally amazingly awesome because Material Girl is 80`s themed, which pretty much rocks," she wrote. Madonna has previously said their clothing range has been inspired by her daughter`s likes and dislikes. "It is absolutely an extension of her taste. We like to combine a plaid or a flannel with a lace or leather with lace or rhinestones. So we mix and match textures and fabrics and elements that are both masculine and feminine," said the 51-year-old singer. The collection, which will be launched in August, are for US department store Macy`s and start from USD 12. PTI
