Make-up artist Katie Alves uses eyebrows as her canvas

London: From ‘Lion King’ to ‘Alice in Wonderland’, make-up artist Katie Alves has garnered fame with his detailed drawings on eyelids using just everyday cosmetics.

Listed among her favourites are scenes from Disney animated movies like ‘Little Mermaid’ and ‘Entangled’.

Each eye can take one to two hours to complete.

“One day I got the idea to do a little Halloween design on my lips, just to see if I could do it. It turns out I could and it evolved into what I do now,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

“I have done a lot of Disney, but that``s not all I do. I have dozens of non-Disney make-up as well,” she said.

When asked if she uses some special makeup for her art she cast aside any such possibility and said that she always has used ‘regular make-up you could find at a store’.
