London: Brides-to-be could now get the most desired Pippa or Kate Middleton’s wedding look at High Street prices.
When Pippa stepped onto the red carpet to pick up sister Kate’s train at the royal wedding, her maid-of-honour dress quickly became the most requested in bridal ateliers across the world.
Considering its increasing demand, Debenhams has unveiled a replica of Pippa’s 20,000 pounds Alexander McQueen gown at just 170 pounds the Daily Mail reported.
The cowl-neck dress goes on sale at the high street department store, accompanied by a host of other royal wedding-inspired pieces.
“Both men and women everywhere were instantly talking about Pippa, so naturally brides-to-be will want to emulate her classic look – both for themselves or their bridesmaids,” Alain Mehada, chief personal shopper at Debenhams’ Oxford Street flagship, said of the collection.
“We have been inundated by customers asking if we have anything similar to the dresses worn by Kate, Pippa and the flower girls, but the ivory dress worn by Pippa is the most requested by far,” he stated.
The retailer will also stock a 99 pounds version of the emerald green Alice Temperley evening gown Pippa wore to the evening reception at Buckingham Palace.
There is also a black lace sweetheart cocktail-length dress in homage to Kate - inspired by her magnificent Alexander McQueen wedding gown.
Completing the set is a flower girl dress cinched with wide gold ribbon that echoes that of the bridal party, on sale for just 48 pounds to 52 pounds depending on age.
