Samantha Cameron joins charity march in Topshop high heels

London: Samantha Cameron certainly proved the point that she prefers walking tall, when she took part in a charity march recently wearing sky-high heels.

The British Prime Minister’s wife wore a black suit and ‘Save the Children’ t-shirt, teaming them up with the pair of Topshop high heels for the philanthropic occasion, as she marched from Dowing Street down to Somerset House. The campaign, entitled ‘Born to Walk Tall’, aimed at raising funds for health workers in developing countries. “It’s heartbreaking that eight million children under five die every year, simply because there is no doctor or nurse nearby to give them treatment,” the Daily Mail quoted Cameron as saying. “Let’s hope we can inspire others to walk their own mile for the Born to Walk Tall campaign,” she added. Cameron, an ambassador for Save the Children, was accompanied by a Nigerian doctor and top names from the world of fashion, including Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey and Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton.
