Diwali special recipe: Khubani Ka Meetha

Ingredients

Apricot dry
Sugar
Cardamom
Water
Kewra water
Rose water


Method

Soak the Dried Apricot in water for about 3 hours.

After the apricots become soft peel them and remove the seeds gently still keeping the shape of the Apricots

Poach the apricots in about 1.25 litres of water with little whole cardamom. When the Apricots is soft and tender add kewra water rose water. 

Taste the mixture and add sugar as per the recipe. If the dessert is already sweet for your palate then the sugar quantity can be refused.

TIP--- To make the colour denser you can soak one tea leaf bag in the mixture.
