`Tower Heist` ropes in Gabourey Sidibe

London: Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe will join Michael Pena, Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy in `Tower Heist`, an action-comedy to be directed by Brett Ratner.

In the film, the `Precious` star and Pena play employees in a luxury apartment building whose pension funds have been drained by a Bernie Madoff-like Wall Street crook. The overworked manager of the tower residence (Stiller) leads a team the defrauded workers in a heist of its penthouse tenant, reported Contactmusic. The Universal Pictures production is set to start in New York next month. After making her dream Hollywood debut last year the 27-year-old is now working on a television series, `The Big C` for Showtime network. PTI
