`X-Men` filming stalled after James McAvoy accident

London: Filming of the much awaited superhero flick `X-Men: First Class` came to a halt when the buggy carrying actor James McAvoy crashed on set.
The actor sustained minor injuries when the motor tipped over while ferrying him around Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, reported Sun online.
The 31-year-old actor, who plays Professor Charles Xavier in the film, went back to work the same day. The Scottish star has been cast as a young version of Proffesor X, who is played by Patrick Stewart in the other `X-Men` films. He had been shooting scenes for `X-Men: First Class`, directed by Matthew Vaughn, with co-star Jennifer Lawrence. The prequel to the original trilogy, is expected to hit cinemas in June next year. PTI
