New York: Hollywood icon Al Pacino is the latest A-lister to join the cast of the ambitious mob drama `Gotti: Three Generations` which stars John Travolta in the lead role.
The bio-pic of famed mafia boss John Gotti, will see the Oscar winning Pacino play Gambino crime family underboss Neil Dellacroce, an associate and mentor to Gotti Sr, reported a website.
The cast also includes Lindsay Lohan, Joe Pesci and Travolta`s wife, Kelly Preston. The film is being directed by Barry Levinson, the Academy Award-winning director of `Rain Man` and `Bugsy`.
The film will focus on Gotti`s relationship with Dellacroce, who was something of a father figure to the crime boss.
"There`s this whole thing about fathers and sons that plays through this piece," Levinson said of the film, based on the life story of Gotti`s son, John Gotti Jr.
