London: Daniel Craig for making the James Bond character "extraordinary" says noted British film composer David Arnold.
The composer popular for scoring five James Bond films zeroed in on Craig as favourite actor to play the role, Contactmusic reported.
"I just think Daniel has done something really quite extraordinary with it considering where it was, just giving it a whole new lease of life," Arnold said.
Best known for movies like `Fast 2 Furious`, Godzilla` and `Independence Day`, Arnold described his part in the soundtrack for the 2008 Bond film `Quantum of Solace` as the highlight of his career.
"Being asked to do a Bond film, you know when you get the girls at the beginning with all the silhouettes and the explosions and all that, being a part of that, it`s amazing," Arnold said.
The next James Bond movie is currently on hold due to financial problems of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM)studio.
