JJ Abrams not considering `Star Wars` exit

Disney and Lucasfilm have denied reports that JJ Abrams was not keen about directing "Star Wars: Episode VII".

Los Angeles:Disney and Lucasfilm have denied reports that JJ Abrams was not keen about directing "Star Wars: Episode VII".
The rumours first started circulating at the Comic-Con with one of the reports suggesting that the director was not willing to shift to London to shoot the film, Variety reported. However, the studio was quick to hush the rumours. "There is no truth to the rumour. JJ is having a great time working on the script and is looking forward to going into production next year," a Disney spokesperson said. Abrams had shown a willingness to return for "Star Trek III" which added fuel to the rumours because that project is yet to find a director and both the films are set to shoot in 2014. "Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated for a 2015 release. PTI
