Lake Bell knows the secret behind `Scream 4`

London: American actress Lake Bell has quit `Scream 4` just days before the filming was about to start owing to scheduling conflicts. The star of TV series `How To Make It In America` was cast to play Deputy Judy Hicks, a police officer described as "decidedly sexy but a bit off."

The upcoming fourth sequel of Wes Craven`s horror series will also have David Arquette and Courteney Cox, alongside new talent Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere and is due for release in April 2011, a news website reported. Bell`s last minute back out has left the producers in a desperate search to find a replacement. The 31-year-old-actress has announced the news to her fans in a teasing post on the social website Twitter. "Sucks: Scheduling conflicts with my current gig means I can`t do Scream 4!Hey horror bloggers, I know who the killer is..." Bell has been busy mixing TV and movie work since the onset of this year with her film `It`s Complicated` becoming a Box Office hit and lending her voice for the animated flick `Shrek Forever After`.
