London: Lizzy Caplan has joined the cast of Seth Rogen`s upcoming holiday-themed comedy film.
The untitled project casts Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie as three old friends who reunite in New York City as part of a Christmas Eve tradition, suggest reports.
Caplan, 32, will portray Gordon-Levitt`s on-screen romantic interest Diana.
This will be a reunion for Caplan and Rogen, who will soon star together in the controversial Christmas Day release `The Interview`.
Jonathan Levine is directing the upcoming holiday film, having previously worked with Rogen and Gordon-Levitt on the critically-acclaimed drama `50/50`.
The untitled Christmas comedy is scheduled to open on December 11, 2015, with production expected to begin later this month.
