Marvel studios planning to make female superhero film

Johannesburg: Marvel studios, which has enjoyed incredible success with movies such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, is hoping to release a comic book movie featuring a female protagonist.

Speaking at Entertainment Weekly`s CapeTown film Fest, studio boss Kevin Feige said that they have a number of candidates from the comics and from the movies they`ve already made, but it`s just a matter of finding the right storyline, the right filmmaker and the right time, News 24 reported. Responding to a suggestion from the crowd for a `She-Hulk` movie, he said that it would be pretty great. So far, the movie studio has only introduced one crime- fighting femme fatale in its films- Scarlett Johansson`s S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow. Elsewhere, Feige denied that the studio will make a new Daredevil movie after rights to the character reverted back to Marvel. ANI
