Mick Jagger to play media baron in new movie

London: Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger is reportedly set for a return to acting after signing on to play a media mogul in a new film inspired by one of his own ideas.

Jagger, 68, will appear in `Tabloid`, a new project he is developing through his Jagged Films production company.

Screenwriter Josh Olson is developing the script, Daily Express reported.

His website reports that Jagger`s character will be playing a media baron Rupert Murdoch-like figure, who mentors a young journalist. Jagger last appeared on the big screen in 2001`s `The Man from Elysian Fields`.
