Mick Jagger to play Murdoch like figure in acting return venture

London: Frontman for rock legends The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger is set to return to acting by playing a media mogul in a new film, ‘Tabloid’ inspired by one of his own ideas.

Jagger’s, 68, new movie has reportedly been developed through his Jagged Films production company. ‘A History of Violence’s’ screenwriter Josh Olson has developed the script, based on a concept presented by the singer. According to RollingStone.com, Jagger’s character will be a Rupert Murdoch-like figure, who mentors a young journalist, the daily star reported. ANI
