Naomi Watts not confirmed to star in 1963`s `The Birds` remake yet

London: Naomi Watts has not been officially cast in the remake of 1963`s ` The Birds `, which will be produced by `Transformers` director Michael Bay and helmed by Dutch filmmaker Diederik Van Rooijen.Brad Fuller, co-owner of Bay`s production company Platinum Dunes, told horror-movies.ca that no actor or actress is going to commit to everything without a script,reportedly.

Fuller continued saying that he and Bay have sat down with the blonde beauty and, conceptually, all of them want to make the same movie, but until they have a script, it will be a little premature to say that the actress has signed up for the film. But, he would really like to have her as the lead, he added.
