London: She plays a crazed ballerina in the `Black Swan` and Natalie Portman now wants to do a light-hearted musical where she can let her hair down.
The 29-year-old actress who is tipped for an Oscar for her role in the thriller, said that she wants a film like `Mamma Mia` which starred stalwarts like Meryl Streep and Colin Firth, reported a daily.
"I love letting my hair down and dancing to rock and disco. Sometimes I so feel like doing what Meryl Streep did in Mamma Mia, that kind of film musical," said the actress who is expecting her first child with ballet dancer fiance Benjamin
Millepied.
Portman started ballet lessons at age four, stopped at 12 and resumed at 27 for `Black Swan`.
"It was like starting from scratch. I had co-ordination and could feel the music pretty easily but I had to re-learn the physical movements," said the actress.
The actress who is known for her serious roles is now experimenting with comedy and her next two releases are comedies.
`No Strings Attached` has Ashton Kutcher and another, `Your Highness` where she is paired with James Franco.
