Reese Witherspoon pulls out of `The Intern`

Los Angeles: Actress Reese Witherspoon is reportedly no longer attached to Nancy Meyers` film `The Intern`.

The Warner Brothers comedy was supposed to star Witherspoon and Robert De Niro but Witherspoon allegedly passed on the project, adding that her schedule likely pushed her away from the film, reported Variety online. In the film, Witherspoon would have played the founder of a successful fashion website who is urged to take part in her company`s Senior Intern Program. It is reported that `Bridesmaids` star Kristen Wiig will star opposite De Niro now. Film director Meyers has worked on the likes of `What Women Want`, `Something`s Got To Give` and `It`s Complicated` in the past.
