Russell Brand wants to win Oscar

London: British comedian Russell Brand wants to win an Academy award and thinks his role in ‘Get Him To The Greek’ will get him one. Brand is playing the role of sex-mad rockstar Aldous Snow in the movie who is also a drug addict, reports dailystar.co.uk.

"I play a drug addict and as I have been doing extensive research on them for past 10 years, it was easy to portray the role," said Brand. "I would prefer to get an Oscar as I reckon, I have got a chance," he added. Brand, 35, is engaged to singer Katy Perry. IANS
