Ryan Reynolds barred from coffin breaks

Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds spent hours in a coffin

Los Angeles: Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds spent hours in a coffin without a break, while shooting his latest film `Buried`, getting out only to have food.
The Canadian-born star confessed that he was only allowed out for lunch because it took too long to get back in again, reported a website.
"It takes 10, 15, 20 minutes to get in there, so I`m not allowed to get out because it would delay us too much. For the last five days of the shoot I was pretty much in the coffin, I didn`t really get to leave much, maybe lunch, that was about it," said the 33-year-old-actor. In the new thriller, the `Proposal` star essays the role of a man imprisoned in a coffin in Iraq with only a mobile phone and a lighter. However, Reynolds insisted that he didn`t have a tough time dealing with the gruelling shoot as he does not suffer from claustrophobia. When asked if he had a fear of enclosed spaces, Reynolds, who is married to actress Scarlett Johansson, said, "Not any more than the normal guy. I think everyone`s a little claustrophobic in those circumstances, it`s crazy. So, for me, it`s getting caught with my pants down, metaphorically!" PTI
