Los Angeles: Actress Charlize Theron is in talks to produce and star in indie drama `American Express`.
The film is being directed by `The Square` helmer Nash Edgerton and will be seeking financing in the Cannes Film Festival, reportedly.
Theron will produce the film through her Denver & Delilah banner, which recently optioned Susannah Cahalan`s bestselling book `Brain On Fire: My Month Of Madness` as a star vehicle for Dakota Fanning.
Theron will next be seen in Seth MacFarlane`s comedy `A Million Ways to Die in the West`.
She`ll also star with Chloe Moretz and Christina Hendricks in `Dark Places` and opposite Javier Bardem in Sean Penn`s African romance `The Last Face`.
